Booyah!! 13-0 and counting! The Pats took it to the Steelers this afternoon, even though we had NOTHING for a running game (21 paltry yards). Brady-to-Moss, Brady-to-Welker, and Brady-to-Gaffney did the trick. Did you all see that bomb to Moss (how did he get so wide open??)? Did you all see the double-lateral-pass- bomb from Brady-to-Moss-to-Gaffney? Crazy play. This was fun! OK, so for the Jets game we're going to try a different location to shake things up a little bit. Instead of Crogan's, we're gonna' have brunch at the Stadium Pub in Walnut Creek: http://www.themenupage.com/stadiumpub.html The address is 1420 Lincoln Avenue. Yikes! Last night was another nail-biter vs. the Ravens. But being true champions, the Patriots survived AGAIN to move to 12-0. This week's matchup vs. the Steelers should be a classic! Come to Crogan's for the 1:15PM kickoff to root on the Pats! There will be a lot of Steelers fans there, so let's all get there to show the Patriots our support! This game was originally on the schedule for 10AM but on 11/6 the NFL flexed it to a 1:15PM kickoff.

The Patriots are now 11-0 after pulling out an exciting 31-28 victory over the scrappy Eagles. This win goes to show that no team can be taken for granted in the NFL. Do the Eagles have the formula for slowing down the Patriots (and scoring, too!)? We'll see against the Ravens!

The Patriots showed what they are made of vs. the Colts. To say it was a huge comeback win vs. all sorts of adversity is an understatement. Now the Patriots need to focus on beating the Bills for the second time in 2007. Now is no time for a let down! Game has been changed to the Sunday night game, so kickoff is now 5:15PM.

This is the game of the year people! Now that the Red Sox have won the Series for the 2nd time in the last 4 seasons, it's time to focus squarely on football! The Colts (7-0) vs. the Patriots (8-0) in a rematch of last year's AFC Championship game. This is the first time in NFL history two undefeated teams have met this late in the year. Come to Crogan's to see who will claim AFC supremacy. Like the Cowboys game a few weeks ago this should be a well attended event, so get there a few minutes early to grab your seat and order some refreshments.

The Patriots are back in the friendly confines of Gillette Stadium to take on the 4-2 Washington Redskins. The Redskins are no pushover; they have an excellent defensive secondary and could finally challenge Brady and the Patriots offense. Please RSVP if you plan to come so I can talk to the bar manager about getting the game on a widescreen. The 49ers are also playing at 1:15PM and so the hometown team will get dibs unless I can tell them we have 12, 15 or 20 people coming to root on the Pats!

Come join other diehard Patriots fans at Crogan's Bar & Grill in Walnut Creek to watch the undefeated Patriots take on the winless Dolphins in Miami. The Patriots have historically played poorly in Miami, so this could be a tough matchup (but maybe not, the Patriots offense looked AWESOME against the Cowboys). What else do you have to do on a Sunday AM? Bring your paper, have coffee and brunch, and root on the Patriots!

The Patriots are now 5-0 after last week's win vs. the Browns! It was great to meet Liz and Steve, and Michelle this week. Tom and his son Ryan (old reliables) were there as well. This week was the best turnout yet, and we already have some "yes" RSVPs for next week's clash vs. the Cowboys. Let's have a big turnout, get there a little early, and ensure we snag one of the widescreens. Today we had enough ex-New Englanders there that we were able to get the Red Sox game turned on via the TV adjacent to the Pats game! What a great sports weekend for NE: Pats are 5-0, the Red Sox advance to the ALCS, and BC football is 6-0 after a thrashing of Bowling Green!
